Today’s article is a prophetic exhortation and a call to prayer. Now is the time to overturn Roe vs Wade.
If our courts overturn this grave and unjust decision, it will provide a real and present opportunity to finally end abortion in our country. At the very least it will lead to the salvation of hundreds of thousands as mothers heed to a law of life and receive the great blessing of their womb.
It is the work of God’s people to intercede and crush this atrocity via our heavenly calling of prayer. Again I say that now is the time!

Lou Engle, founder of TheCall and Bound4Life, wrote this 22 word prayer that Christians have been praying together in unity for years. If you are reading this, join with me now and pray with millions of other believers in this season: “Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation, God end abortion and send revival to America.”
Please pray for our government as they begin to weigh the options for the next Supreme Court Justice. Pray for the President and his administration. Pray for the Republicans and Democrats in office who are currently divided on the issue. Lift them up and bless them in Jesus name. Pray that they would be filled with the knowledge and grace of God. Pray that they would be given wisdom and discretion. Pray, pray, pray!
Much action is taking place right now and many things are being said. The Church is in action. We’ve fought for this change with our support of pro-life candidates, serving in crisis pregnancy centers, social activism, and the growing adoption movement. Keep doing good works, but please understand this is an hour to pray! Prayer is what will shift the spiritual climate and open the doors for change in our civil government.
Eleven years ago the Lord gave me a word that “abortion would fall like the Berlin wall, and out of the rubble God would construct a new wall of intercession.” I believe we are living in this moment now. We’ve prayed and are praying for the ending of abortion. As this horror crashes to the ground, God will establish a generation wholly committed to the Matthew 9:38 command of Jesus: “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Genuine intercession begets effective action. I believe a prayer and evangelism movement with holy resolve will come forth in this generation like none before. There will be a people committed to preparing the way of the Lord in our day that will be compared to the work and ministry of John the Baptist. The ending of abortion is a catalyst for the awakening of this coming move of God.
As we unite ourselves to the justice of God’s cause, He will assuredly bring forth righteousness in our land.
